A bit off topic I know but would welcome ideas as to how I could do something similar to OpenFlights.org.
Am looking to create relationships (links) between cities. Currently have a list of approx 2000 cities I would like to link and would like to do the following :-
- Mass upload city list to Drupal and GeoCode upon upload
- Retrieve city data from an external source (population stats, etc)
- Show on map the links between the cities (relationships could be one to many or one to one)
- Be able to drill down (click) on a city and show below which cities it's connected to
Sound easy? difficult? Looking for help!! :-)
Have Drupal 6.10 as a base, looked at Geo module, Gmap and GeoNames integration.
Welcome any comments and thoughts, thanks for looking.
