Hi everyone,
I installed the module but I can't get it work when editing the content type informations to create the node. Actually, I'd like to have the Hierarchical effect on taxonomy vocabulary that is assigned to a content type, then the user can choose the right term for the node when editing.
Is there any way to make it work, because for now I have a very long dropdown menu for all my terms which is not what I want and moreover not user friendly.
Any ideas ?

Go to the "Edit vocabulary" form. There you can enable Hierarchical Select.

That's what I did, I can see the preview which is exactly what I'm waiting for, but it doesn't display when editing the content type, instead the usual dropdown for taxonomy is displayed.
Should I need to create a new field using CCK, for the taxonomy ?

Did you check the checkbox that says "Enable HS for this vocabulary"? I bet you didn't. If you did, then you've installed a module that somehow interferes with HS.

Yes, I did it, I'm using the classifieds ads module which by default create a content type for an classified ad, I guess the problem is coming from that, because I checked he other content type by enabling HS on them and it's working.

It seems the Classified Ads module is then overriding Taxonomy somehow? Or maybe it has a nonzero module weight and that might be the cause.

Moving to the Classified Ads issue queue so the maintainer can add more info.

Actually, I set the Multilingual Options to None in the vocabulary settings and it's working... It's also working when I choose the option "Per language terms. " But it's not working for the option "Localize terms" Which is what I need.

Is this still an issue? Very happy to resolve if so, otherwise I intend to close off.

Cheers,
