Issue Summary
To reproduce:
1) create content type
2) add an unlimited nodereference field
3) configure to show popup reference add link
4) create content of this type
For me, the left sidebar gets pushed down. See screenshot.
You will not get this problem if:
1) you set the nodereference field to a set amount (e.g. 10)
or
2) you don't show the popup reference add link

and the bottom blocks float to the top.

For me, merely activating the node reference module breaks the form entirely. Not only does the form not render at all, I end up being unable to edit the content type or manage its fields in the admin interface. And disabling the module does not make things work again--not even clearing cache. I had to revert to an earlier database backup to get things working at all again.

This module hasn't had any activity since 2009 so I'm closing this.
