In the normal userpoints setting, there is a place to assign categories, but there isn't one for node creation and comment right now....

Also, points given when creating a node goes to uncategorized...which is fine, but the total uncategorized points balance shows as "0". In the table listing the points it shows "1" for each node created. The points also doesn't seem to go into Net Points Balance!

It looks like userpoints_nc currently doesn't make much use of categories. All nodes and comments fall into a single category. I wanted to be able to categorize points based on the type of node created. To do this, I added selects on the point settings form (under the 'points for posting nodes' and 'points for posting comments' fieldsets) to choose a userpoints category to associate with each node type and comment.

The patch is against 6.x-1.1, but I can reroll against the latest dev if there is interest.

What about views support? Only "Uncategorized" points are shown in views after this patch is used.

How can I access "total userpoints count" in views?
