I am getting a fatal error when trying to us the theme.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function zen_theme() in /var/www/web2/web/sites/all/themes/zen/austin/template.php on line 104

Do you have the Zen theme installed? Austin is a sub theme of Zen, so it is required.

Yes the zen theme is uploaded and activated.

I can't really help you resolve this issue without more information. I have installed the theme over 10 times and haven't encountered this error.

After deleting zen and uploading the latest 6.x-2.x-dev version it worked all of the sudden. :)
