add a new field type taxonomy in user Registration page

How to add a new field type taxonomy in user Registration? In user registration page there
would be a Taxonomy drop down selection box name is Location.I have created
location Taxonomy field with the list items using taxonomy menu from admin
panel.But couldn't add it to the user Registration page.I want this because after
login a user post his content(in user content creation page there wouldn't be any dropdown location texonomy because user already choosen it in registration page ) and this content would be automatically categorized using this location texanomy list items.
