Hi,

I have a drupal site in my local machine, using wamp and it works well.

something with my upload is not correct. After I've moved all the files to my hosting account and import/export my datacase tables using phpmyadmin (I've tried several formats with this process) drupal doesn't recognize my contributed modules anymore, I think it's somthing with the callback to the other modules.

The thing is that working great on MY computer, can someone please give me an advice?

despite I don't have the error there, I still have the problem, It's just not consider all of the modules so he omitted the warning there.

The problem is still exist...

Hi there,
I think I have same problem.
I started developing site , based originally on Acquia Drupal distro (hosted on justhost shared server). All fine, and runs like a dream.
Now I'[m trying to migrate a copy of the dev site to a production instance (on same hosting company, but under different independant account) - create a new drupal instance, copy across modules, themes and files, and the copy the database across with phpMyAdmin - but I get the same sorts of errors.

I must be missing a step somewhere - in the data that's in the database? I'm excluding the cache tables and watchdog table. Maybe there are more tables I should exclude?

If anyone can assist, by pointing to relevant resources, that would be great.
Been hunting online for 3 days now

Just thought I'd update:
Seems the problem I was having was one of unix/linux permissions.
I was copying to new site what I thought was the entire file set - but a number of folders were missing. changing file permissions to sites/all and sites/default as well as sites folder itself, did the trick,allowed the copy and all was then well.
Derived this solution from a couple of wordpress forums where similar issues were discussed.

I can only suggest what worked for me, on my hosted accounts with justhost:
I had to (temporarily) set the permissions of the following folders to 777:
/sites
/sites/all
/sites/default

then once everything was accessible and the error went away (and I ran update.php), then I could change permissions back to what they were and all seems fine now.

I am having similar error messages popup. I am not sure what happened. I think at some point I uninstalled panels. Maybe I should reinstall it...

at the very least 755? or is there a reason you need the world to write to everything there. 770/775 may be sufficient and a lot less likely to render a compromised box.

Hi,

I just had the same problem when I tried to do the opposite : download my hosted (draft) drupal website to my local machine, but it's just about transferring a drupal web site.
I didn't have so many errors like you but some of them were the same.

I just flushed all the caches (at the upper left corner of the admin menu) and it fixed the problem. If you can't access the admin menu, you will have to find the other ways to flush the caches.

I can not find the solution how to solve it... I tried the suggestions of clearing the cache and also changed the permission of folders sites, sites/all, sites/default before the transfer of the files.

None of it works, can someone suggest something? Or may be I am doing something wrong???

What version of PHP are you currently using with this error? I'm starting to suspect this is a problem with php 5.3.

I had this problem in combination with upgrading to views 6.x-2.8 -- the problem is that the views module needs to update the database tables. Make sure to run update.php from your admin screen (if you can't get to the admin screen, try http://yoursite/update.php).

when i update to drupal 6.16 , i got that errors, and I following this tips :

Step 1: I change the file permission on these files ( tips From swagman) :

Web User: READ & EXECUTE are enabled, WRITE is not

Owner: All enabledThanks, this worked for me.

Error is gone, except when I login to Admin, then error returns but only on Admin page??

Do I have to do anything else to clear error on Admin pages???

I know I do not have permission issue
Also, I have run the update script,

Still I get this error after logging out from Admin on the main login screen. google chrome spits the error under the footer, other browsers hide it somehow,

I think the phperror module should handle these messages to the log, but is not doing so...
any help ?
