This is a repeat of #403740: Assign Expert-ness for a term to a whole role as well as to individuals.
The idea:
Assign expert-ness for a term based on user roles instead of users individually.
I am currently working on remaking the patch for the alpha version, so this is kind of a place marker.
Please feel free to give me suggestions.

kuzma commentedOkay, so I made a patch for the cvs of the alpha version.
However, I had started with alpha distribution and then of course had conflicts when I updated the cvs, but I think I have it all figured out now.
This patch basically changes the faq_expert table to use roles instead of users and in addition goes through and changes everywhere else to reflect this difference.
Also, we no longer need to explicitly put in the admin into the database for each term, which is nice.
I believe this will make it all more manageable.
Please check out this patch and eventually apply it to the alpha cvs repo.
Thank you for your consideration.

stenjo commentedI believe the intention of your patch is implemented now in the latest dev version. Feel free to reopen this issue if this is not the case.
