Greetings all,

We'd like to invite you all to check out a new project we're about to launch. We've created (what we believe is) the world's first HDTV show for the Internet.

We are Motamorfosis Productions, a video production studio based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the show is called "mariposaHD". The show is meant to explore "what can be done" with the latest in HDTV technology and P2P distribution.

We're distributing the show as a WMV-HD file that you can play in Windows Media Player, both in 720p and 1080i resolution. There's also a down-sampled version for the new iPod video if you want to try that. The show is free to download and Creative Commons licensed so you can share it if you like.

We're still working on the website but the video is working and ready to download. You'll need a BitTorrent client installed to download the show. If this is new to you, we have easy instructions here:

After an exhaustive search, we decided to go with Drupal 4.6 for our web presence, Gallery 2 for our photo gallery, and Steve Wittens' FriendsElectric theme. Many thanks to everyone to contributed to these projects. This is great software!

We are definitely amateurs when it comes to web design and administering Drupal. Hopefully this post will attract an audience with more experience than us in these matters. Please feel free to post comments, suggestions, or contributions in our online forum.
