This is a task to remind me to upgrade the delicious module to 4.7.
Please follow up here if you are someone who intends to be an early adopter of 4.7 (or beta test 4.7) and use or want to use this module with Drupal 4.7

merlinofchaos commentedI plan to get this, but it will likely be after DrupalCon.
If someone else wants to work on it ahead of that, please feel free.

Sean Et Cetera@sean-ward.com commentedI'd like to upgrade to 4.7, but the delicious module is one of the core parts of my site. Let me know if you need someone to test it out or anything.

robloachHas there been any progress on updating the Delicious module to 4.7?
merlinofchaos commentedSadly no. It hasn't come up on my radar, and I've been far too busy to give it the attention it needs. Now that 4.7 is official I really should get to it, but I'll happily take volunteer work on it too.

dnorman commentedIs it just a matter of upgrading the forms to use the new API? Or something more involved? I could take a stab at upgrading forms, assuming the form updater module helps out a bit.
merlinofchaos commentedIt is mostly the forms, I think. I don't remember anything else too difficult; but i haven't really looked at the delicious code on a long while.
robloachThe forms were the only issue I saw when I quickly took a look at it.

dnorman commentedI ran it through the Form Updater module to quickly port it to the Forms API. It sorta works, but has some issues (that I successfully ignored).
I've attached my slightly patched version of the module in case it comes in handy. I'm also just running a simple Aggregator "listener" to watch my del.icio.us account and cache the last few days worth of links to power a sidebar of latest links. That works ok, and is separate from this module.
I've likely missed something important in my quick port of the module. It worked well enough to test it out, with some minor error messages spewed - but it worked.

robloachI'm willing to be a small sponsor for a redesign for the Delicious module upgrade to 4.7.
