Hello,

I created a vocabulary, added it to a menu, checked "give vocab it's own item" and added terms to the vocabulary. The menu item shows up fine, as do the term pages, but if I click on the vocab item I get a 404-- do I have to do something else to get a page with the vocab description and terms? I've tried looking under /category/5 as well (where 5 is the vocabid)

what link is the vocab item pointed to? It should be 'taxonomy/term/tid tid tid tid tid' if you are using the default path.

it's just /taxonomy/term ... no id.

I had this happen to me once. Try rebuilding the taxonomy menu. Go to the vocab edit page, select the "rebuild" option and then submit. This deletes all of the current entries and recreates them.
