Description

I am kind of lost creating the contact list page like in the demo site. The documentation just led me to ask more questions. A little more direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Thanks Geoff.

I guess where to start. What file should I add the snippet to?

Also when you say create "Contact Directory" page, are you referring to a new .tpl.php file, or a regular page via create content?

Sorry for the basic questions.

Thanks,

Ed

Hi Ed,

No problems it is much easier and quicker for me to answer specific questions that try to guess where you needed help. It is always better to post as much info as possible to start with even if a little embarrassing. But don't forget we all had similar "stupid" questions when we started. It took me a long time to get my head around Drupal.

Enable php filter module (part of Core)
Create a normal page via Create content.
Paste snippet into page (make sure any wysiwyg editor is switched off)
You can title it whatever you want
Create a menu entry for it.

OR
If you don't have many contacts and want to put more info on the page you can just create a page, add your text and link to each contact form.

Geoff

Geoff,

Thanks for the tip, I was having such a hard time getting started I really didn't know what to post.

Your last reply was magic! Once I enabled the php filter module and disabled wsyiwyg it worked perfectly :)

Thank you very much.
