When the module displays Bible verses of some chapter, I would like to add at the end of Bible verses a cross references or some links and without hacking into the bible module. Maybe a template system would be good or something which would allow me to plug-in additional functionality into the module and without hacking the module itself.

Dear MikeLee,
I thought a little different thing - ability to add custom text (php evaluated) at the end of each verse and without hacking into module. I want to pull information form different tables and add it to the end of each verse.
