Theming the Blog Entry Page and Blog Listing Page

captaindav - April 5, 2009 - 16:15

I am trying to format my blog summary and individual an blog entries.

I am using a custom theme that started with BlueMarine. I put an aggregator block on my
home page, and that worked fine, I was able to format the "more" page using CSS, as the
HTML has div tags like <div id=aggregator> But for the blog pages' HTML all I can find are class=main
and class=content class=node, and I don't want to change these as it will mess up the other
pages.

You can see this at www.mc-specialists.com. Take a look at the aggregator "more", it displays
fine, but if you click on an individual blog there is no title, and no CSS tags to format the
blog entry, and the same for the "more" listing.

Thanks!

Try the Blogtheme Module

Without looking too closely at the coding issues, I think you could try the Blog Theme module to style blog postings http://drupal.org/project/blogtheme. It allows you to customize your blog content type and even run a wholly different theme just for blog posts. I use it on my site and it works quite well.

Thanks!
