Hi there,
I´m using Organic Groups and NodeAccess. I need to restrict viewing and editing content inside each group.
So this is what I´ve done:
I have enabled OG Access module, and every group is set to private.
But I didn´t want OG admins to be able to edit the page content inside their groups.
So I´ve installed NodeAccess and granted registered users view permission, and take off the edit permission to node authors.
But I didn´t realize that granting that "viewing" perm, people from other groups were able to view pages inside all groups. Even the private ones.
So, is there anything that can be done here?
I´ve checked the "Give node grants priority" checkbox.
If you are only using this access control module, you can safely ignore this. If you are using multiple access control modules, and you want the grants given on individual nodes to override any grants given by other modules, you should check this box.
Maybe unchecking it could help solve this? I just want to ask before I could break something important :)
Thanks for your advice!!

Ok, I´ve tried unchecking it and OG recover his priority.
The thing is that I don´t want group´s manager to be able to edit posts inside each group.
Is there aything I can do to prevent that?
I know that I can just unpublish the "edit" tab, but that won´t prevent the user to manually enter the edit form!
Is this a serious flaw of OG, or Drupal? Is this how it is supposed to work???
Or maybe it´s me that didn´t quite get how to prevent these big fat issues to happen.

I came across this post while trying to figure out why non-group members could access content in groups set to private...Have you tried changing the permissions under each individual content type on the Nodeaccess configuration page (mysite.com/admin/user/nodeaccess)? Maybe you need to uncheck the "edit" permission for your content type for that user role?

Hi!
Yup, I´ve tried that too... with no luck... I think permissions within OG needs a lot of work because they are not flexible enough.
