There is a need for a place where you can ask questions about compatibility issues in you SQL code. A forum could be such place.
A sticky post with guidelines (or link to them) would be very helpfull too.
The name 'Database compatibility' is just an example, suggestions are welcomed.

Chris Johnson commentedSeems like a good idea to me. Some place to document and discuss the right way to code SQL for Drupal so that it works on all supported databases would be helpful.

eaton commentedAgreed. I'm trying to track down drupal guidelines for rand() and random() usage. This forum would help a lot.

Cvbge commentedDescription suggestions:
1. Make your code work with all databases supported by Drupal
2. Problems and solutions related to database compatibility [chx]
I suggest we go with number 2.
