Blog Taxonomy pages shows no content

I have the blog setup with pathauto and using taxonomy. The pages for the blog taxonomy (categories) have empty content even though there are content in each category. The /blog page works as well as each blog node works. Only the taxonomy landing pages are having problems. The title for the taxonomy shows up, but nothing else.

I've used views to create taxonomy pages for another content type and it works, so I tried that as well here and it doesn't work. Even without the pathauto and using taxonomy/terms/#, the same thing, title of taxonomy shows up only. Any idea why that is?? Thanks!!
