Hi Guys,

I have been having a heck of a time getting various Ajax modules to run (ex. quicktabs 2.x branch and the ajax comments) Am I missing the boat on something with these? Is there something special I have to download first? I'm at a loss!

It would help if you expanded on the problems you are having. One thing to note is some ajax module require you have clean urls enabled.

I guess that's the problem I'm not sure where to begin. I am running clean url's with the redirect and alias modules.

For instance, I was trying to upgrade to Quicktabs 2.x branch which relies on ajax for some of the processes. Upon trying to create a new tab in the 2.x branch I get the following error:

user warning: Unknown column 'ajax' in 'field list' query: INSERT INTO quicktabs...

In trying to use the Ajax comments module, I enable it and set it up, (and I'm under the impression it upgrades the existing comments), but it does not.

Did you run the upgrade script after upgrading Quicktabs? (There is a link on the modules page). If you have or doing so does not fix the problem you should file an issue against the module.
