With Organic Groups, I've found that a user that belongs to two groups and submits an article with audience set to both groups works fine. When I add workflow into the mix and the article is moved to a new workflow state, workflow removes one of the groups randomly from the article.

I've narrowed it down to the "Save Post" trigger that is causing the issue. When I add "Promote Post to Homepage" trigger, a "Save Post" trigger is automatically added. When I remove these actions ("Save Post" in particular), the OG content stays in both groups. It appear the "Save Post" trigger does something to remove a random group from the post.

I am having a similar problem - using an action to publish the node (as part of an approval workflow). It removes the checked audience from the groups setting when the action is undertaken - also using the "save post" action. Have tried all apparent settings to no avail.

Should this be also posted on the Organic Groups project issue register?

It's been almost a year since any activity was seen on this post, and longer since anyone confirmed it was occuring. IF it is, please reopen the ticket with more information (version of OG, version of Workflow, configurations, etc).
