So here's what I want to do. I have a section of Primary Links across the top of my site, which is how I want to handle main navigation. However, for some of those pages, for example "History", I want to split it into multiple pages (1920-1950, 1950-1970, 1970-Present, etc.), with the navigation in a left side Navigation block. Either in the actual"Navigation" block, or preferably in it's own block. I want that block to show up on the main "History" page, and on each of those sub-pages.

Is this, or anything like it possible?

Maybe the http://drupal.org/project/menu_block_split or http://drupal.org/project/menu_block modules?
