Gift Certificate Code

Can somebody help me with the gift certificate code. Code is generated but when I try to relate it with the email that is sent to the customer, code doesn't go along with gift certificate. Message and amount information works fine, it's only the code which doesn't work, but I need it. Please help, I have really tried hard and frustrated.
