Clean URLs on shared Windows hosting

Hi,
I am using a shared windows hosting plan ( IIS no apache server ) and drupal 6.10. I want to use the clean url feature.

I only have access to the .htaccess file but I don't have access to the conf files.

I read the article for clean url on drupal http://drupal.org/node/15365 but I am unable to get it done as its for apache and the one for windows does not work.

I would highly appreciate if someone can guide me to the right direction.

Hi,
The above link expects you to have access to IIS "Internet Services Manager" which I do not have on the shared hosting plan.

I there some way to work around this ?

This is something you'll have to work out with your host.

They cannot help

Hi,
They said they cannot help as its a shared hosting on widows and cannot give me access to the server.
