user shown as anonymous | Views gmap view with lat/long and user is incorrect

I created the following view; (image attached)
Fields;
location: latitude
location: longitude
node: title
user: name

Filters;
node published: yes
node type: my cck node

This view will work but shows the field user: name as anonymous. If I add the filter user current: yes then no map will display.

I am not a programmer, so I don't know how to trace this problem down but I hope it helps someone who can. I need this module for my new D6 site.
