Debian lenny cames with PECL memcache Version 3.0.1, I configure this module with memcache and nothing.... don't give any error, but I think that don't use any memcache at all..

For when the support?

I switched to memcache-beta, ran tests and they all pass. Please re-open if there are outstanding issues but this all looks fine to me.
