Hi
I saw that the video module is no longer update, its still in the 5.x-1.x-dev version, I have worked with it many times, so having quite good knowledge about the video module, So I could successfully ported it to Drupal 6, to advance it, it is better to have adjacent access to the video module CVS to commit video 6.x.
Here is the link to the module you can download and check it http://heidisoft.com/sites/default/files/video.zip , in the very first I thought to publish a patch, but I felt that is quite a difficult one to the end users, so I ported the complete module.

This is not a webmaster issue, but something that needs to be dealt with inside the Video module queue.

I tried to install this version for D6 but it brok my site. After installing and enabling the module, my site was blank at not accessible. I neede to drop the tables Video create from my data base AND the files in modules folder.

I am sorry I can not help any further, I am not a programmer, just a clever user. But if you manage to get this module done, your gonna make my day !
