Just another drupal site

I don't dare to update to drupal 4.7 because it's not available in fantastico. LOL, yep, I didn't install this drupal from tar.gz, but from fantastico. But without fantastico, I probably never heard of drupal.

So I like this CMS, and decide to build a site for it. At first I got not a clue what kind of site, then slowly it mold into this. http://www.blogmyway.com

I know the design is nothing special. Because I just did very little hack to blue marine template and that's it. I'm not expert or have any talent of design webpage (css, html, or anything). But I did try to hack it a little bit.

Not much for a showcase. But oh well, I might as well joined the fun of posting and sharing my website to all.

Comments are welcome, but remember I'm not expert in design any kind of template, so yeah my website looks lame, if you going to be harsh on it, please be reasonable. I mean, explain to me how I can improve, instead of just saying it sucks. :)

I like the layout, very clean and not too "amateurish". Your use of the "footer" section is pretty interesting.

Something I like to do for all my sites is create a favicon.ico file. This is the icon that gets displayed in the location bar of your browser next to the URL of the page you are currently on.

Creating one is surprisingly simple: all you have to do is take the logo you want (for example, your "two triangles" or the star-type things on the tshirt - it has to be visible when pretty small, though), and save them to a .bmp file 16x16 pixels in size. Then rename that and place it in your web root folder.

It's a small detail but it will make your site stand out in a user's bookmarks (getting there is up to you, though ;)

Thanks for the tip on favicon. I might look into it soon when I have time. Yeah, I think my site is abit too common, so right now I'm looking for a professional designer work with drupal, who don't over-charge me or be arrogant expensive type. hehehe...
