Is it possible to link download_count with the MP3 Player module (http://drupal.org/project/mp3player)?

e.g. when an MP3 is played its download count is added to the download_counter list.

I am also interested in this feature.
Also in an option to enable users to download the MP3 file.

closing due to new maintainer and an unsupported version. A new 6.x-2.x version is forthcoming, please open new issues against that version when available if necessary. This is not really a feature of this module anyway, though the views2 integration added to the 2.x branch should make this possible.
