When you input your information and click the button to register for an event, nothing happens. The person does not show up as being registered for the event.
It's set up to take people to a registration page, which links to CiviCRM.
I can't seem to figure out what's wrong.
Thanks!

jsimonis commentedI just registered as a new user on the site. Then I used the eventfinder to find the event we'd created. It said I'd already registered (even though I obviously hadn't).
I clicked on cancel registration, and then registered for the event.
It popped up the form to fill out for CiviCRM. I filled it out. Then I got this error after submitting it:
DB_DataObject Error: No database name / dsn found anywhere
So it's not working whether or not you're a registered user.

jsimonis commentedWhen I changed the settings so that it was set for "One click. Users must have an account on the Web site to register," this is what happened:
I went to the site as a non-logged in user.
I found the event.
I clicked on the link to register.
It then showed another person had registered-- even though I wasn't logged in and gave no info.
I logged in and checked and it showed a blank registration for the event.

jsimonis commentedCould someone who is running CivicSpace Version 0.8.2 with CiviCRM please check their site and see if registering for an event works?
We cannot get this to work on any of our sites running CiviCRM. Since these are all political sites with events we want people to be able to sign up for, this working properly is an absolute priority.
I've been trying for over a week to get some help on this with no response.

rootworkIt's not working for me either, and I can't figure out what's going on. The registration link just doesn't show up on the event node (though the "0 of 0 registered participants" does, annoyingly).
HOWEVER:
If I perform a search and locate an event, the results page DOES have this link, which then displays the event node page with "EventFinder Options" down at the bottom -- a screen that I haven't seen show up anywhere else.
PLEASE, this really is a critical bug, someone please address this!

rootworkDoes this have to do with the migration away from contact_manager? When I look at the EventFinder settings page, I see this:
Contact Manager Source Group:
Contact Manager is not enabled. Source groups are unavailable.
But contact_manager isn't being developed anymore, is it? It's not in the list of modules, and it's not included in the CivicSpace versions. So...of course it's not enabled. Why is EventFinder concerned about this?
Then again maybe the registration bug is from another source entirely, but I saw this and got concerned.
