Block not displayed in Header section

Description
I created a search block and positioned in Header Section but the block is not getting displayed. If I positiono n Right side it displays on right. Does this theme has that problem ?
One more thing: Right side block alone displays and if I apply any block on left side, the left block is not at all displayed.
I wonder its a two column template or three column template???
please any suggestions/solutions??
