I have installed the compression option for TiinyMCE but viewing the page source shows that the compression module is not activated.

Is there something I have missed?

May be a path problem. I haven't yet checked this myself after installing TinyMCE yesterday.

I am using the 4.6 version and I had to edit tinymce.module and replace tiny_mce.js with tiny_mce.gzip.php.
