I started fixing some of the issues in Send to Phone as I was interested to see what it does. Looks like it's suffering from an incomplete upgrade to Drupal 6. This is as far as I got (so far). Still missing a menu item and maybe other issues.

How is this 18 weeks out and not committed? The module doesn't work without this patch and it took me for effing ever to figure this out myself. It's busted in every 6.x branch too.

No-one has reviewed the patch or provided any feedback. According to the post its not complete - "Still missing a menu item and maybe other issues."

Can confirm that this is still an issue with 6.x-2.x-dev. Followed Will White's great screencast http://developmentseed.org/blog/2007/jul/31/sms-email-gateway-send-phone... to the letter, with a new install but sms filter does not display.

The problem was the sms_sendtophone module was never fully ported to drupal 6.

I think this demonstrates one of main problems with this project, its attempting to do too much and has all these minor sub-modules - I think moving a module like to sendtophone module to its own project would allow all the core sms stuff to proceed faster then having to wait for all these other rarely used module to maintained and tested before a new release.
