I'd like to see a feature where the location of the default value can be selected as part of the CCK configuration.

Most business hours are until about 18:00. As it is now, the default "None" appears before 0:00 so my users need to always scroll down a lot in order to find 18:00. But if the default value was located between 12:00 and 13:00, they'd be able to find both the opening and closing hours a lot more quickly.

So, perhaps a "Where to locate the 'None' (default) value" might be useful for most business purposes. Even better would be the option to select the location of the default value for both the Opening and Closing hours individually.

Just the clarify this a little more..

The option could be like:

List Location of the default value "None" for Opening Times: *

  • Beginning of List
  • End of List
  • After [x] values in List

Where [x] would be a drop down list with the number 0 to 22 - referring to the hour items in the drop down list for Office Hours.

The default value which now appears on the field settings is provided by core and only supplies 1 value.
ATM Office Hours does supply default values, and has a strange thing here: we do not need 1 default value, but 7...
