Only get static vertical display in IE7, works fine in Firefox and Safari

Issue Summary

Hello. We are trying to implement this module but cannot get it to work on IE7. The carousel stays vertical and does not move on IE7.

I have looke at the other bugs of this nature, and we are not doing what caused the problem(no comma after last additional option). It gives 2 errors in the status bar: Line 7 Char 3 error: object does not support this property or method and line 2 char 429 error: object does nto support this property or method. I have looked on the jcarousel lite site and found several mentions of this problem, but no solution. I am using most recent version of jquery_update and have copied jquery.js to the misc/ folder under drupal root.

Not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated. We are using newsflash theme. Unfortunately this is not on a publicly accessible server, it is on our internal testing server as we don't want to break our live site.

In addition, on any browser we use, the carousel goes vertical first, then horizontal, even though we default to horizontal. Any ideas on how to stop that?
