Currently there are 6 options to refine the search, but on the mockup there are only 4. It looks bad on the home page.

On the mockup, Modules and Themes are one category and there is no option for Marketplace. I think that we should just make the module behave just like the mockup. I assume there are implications for the actual search functionality to combine Modules and Themes.

This is all handled in drupalorg_search.module

Removed API because it can't be searched from d.o.
Removed Marketplace for now because it seems like it's not defined from a content perspective (http://drupal.org/node/430218).

Drumm says the same search function will be used on api.drupal.org so that option needs to go back. Putting Modules and Themes together as per the mockup.

Well, until API.drupal.org is not indexed into this index, that option is meaningless. Just like marketplace. So both of those can either be added or removed on the same grounds.
