User account area for purchased nodes

Issue Summary

Ryan,

We are using this module for purchasing viewing rights to Pay Per View / On Demand video content. One need that we have is to show a user's history of purchased nodes. I'm currently working on patching uc_node_access to allow for this feature, and thought I'd share that fact and ask for whatever input you might have, especially with regard to features, what the list should include, etc.

Currently it's just a table with links to the purchased nodes, and tells you when it was purchased and when the rights expire (unless it's indefinite). I think what I'll end up doing is a color scheme, two separate tables that show "active" node access and "expired" by themselves - expired is red, active is green, or something similar.

Once I have a patch that looks ready, I'll post it here.

I would really like to use this patch, because I try to sell quizzes. I am using version 6 though. Will I be able to apply this patch to version 6 also?

Thanks

I was wondering if your patch will use Views, and if I will be able to use it with Drupal 6.

Right now I'm working in Drupal 5, and it does not use Views. To be honest I haven't quite looked at the D6 Views Integration because that itself is a Contrib which is still being worked on. My patch is just a new table that is added to the user's "account history" information i.e. /user/1/nodes)

Do you think that I could apply your patch to my Drupal 6 installation? It is exactly what I need to get my project to the next step.

Hi torgosPizza,

would it be possible for you to send me the patch. I would try to figure out myself, if and how I could apply it to Drupal 6
