Hi,
I've enabled the search module under the "Core - optional" Section. Whenever I do a search, I get the "Blue Smurf" saying that my "search yielded no results". I've tried different keywords, some of which I'm sure to find in my site, and still the Smurfs keep on coming back. I enabled the permissions leaving the advanced search disabled as I don't need it, as well as the "Search Service" under the "Services - services" section, thinking it might work, and yet, my search still yields "no results".
Am I missing something? Is there anything that should enabled? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
jm

robertdouglass commentedand you're sure you ran cron and everything is indexed? Can you check the search_index table and confirm that it is full of records? Have you applied the patches?

drupal-king commentedI have been unable to get the Search to display any results. I have checked all the above, run cron successfully, but still the search does not reveal any results. I have two drupal sites running now but for both I cannot get the search to work.
Is there a patch or something to download or some setting that could be causing this.
Desperate!!! If anyone can help please please please!
