Description

This is a nice module, really ;-)

Thanks, I'm not a coder, so I sometimes can't implement the pieces of code to make a block.

I think the module could be more flexible by implementing some options:

- show "more...." or not
- show "my posts" or not
- show date or not
- to show only title, some words from the news (how many signs) or the whole teaser
- choose not only content types but also a taxonomy type
- choose a specific users posts.

It would be great to see such a block module.

Hi,

- show "more...." or not
- show "my posts" or not

Yeah, I though about this... or even 'custom url' to show there. Currently it allways links to tracker, which isn't that interesting.

- show date or not
- to show only title, some words from the news (how many signs) or the whole teaser
- choose not only content types but also a taxonomy type
- choose a specific users posts.

Nice ideas :) I'll implement some of them. Some remarks (for me too ;)):
- specific user should have 'current user' option that would show content from user browsing the site
- instead of specific users it'd be better to implement "choose s specific role posts", would that be enough for you?
- other configurable things:
- sort by: created/changed/last post
- show nodes or nodes and posts or posts

Thanks for your response

Nice ideas to make the module configurable as it can be. If you implement all these new features - it would be very powerful block module.

Good luck!

I've implemented some of those features in new version.

Nice to hear ;-) that my tips are useful for you

But the version is still:

recent_blocks.module,v 1.2 2005/12/31 20:32:43 cvbge Exp $

so I can't see the changes

Waiting ;-)

There's allways a time lag before new versions are packaged.
