Hi there.
This is an excellent module for community websites, and would love to use it on my own domain. The only problem I have is that I cannot seem to find a way of removing/disabling the comment box on the activity list. I know of patches that probably work, but as I am running a shared server, and have only intermediate php skills, I don't know what to do to remove them manually. I am a Drupal novice (having just migrated from Joomla) and would like any help given in very simple terms.

I will be sincerely grateful for any help offered, as this looks to be a great addition to any site, and I don't want to miss out! :D

Thank you, we work fairly hard trying to make it a good module, but we do have other obligations as well so it takes us a bit of time to get to all of our issues sometimes.

The feature you are looking for has been committed to the development version of the module and will be in version 1.2. I'm not sure on a timeframe, but if you can't wait, please download the development version (6.x-1-dev) and give that a try. In there you will find more permission controls in order to disable commenting and your /admin/user/permissions page.
Only local images are allowed.

Ahh, OK that's great, thanks! :) I am in no rush for the module, as my website is currently not ready to go live, and it would make much more sense to wait around a little for the stable edition of v1.2 :)
