Hello
Im trying to use Realname with Private message
the problem im having is i cant send a message to a users realname
I can see the Realname displayed under FROM when recieving a message but it displays and returns the message to their username
I am using the Override username theme. but
I still get this error
* The following users will not receive this private message: REALNAME,
* There are no valid recipients.
I saw a couple of attemps to fix this issue

plus another using a Dev version to fix it
but none of these seem to fix it for me

should work now with dev version and patch from http://drupal.org/node/369334#comment-1703492
this will only accept the real name for autocomplete, when the user chooses an entry from the autocomplete list it will still fill in the username and not keep the realname
