This seems stupid, but maybe the answer can help others as well as myself.
I went into the admin module and turned-off the "navigate" module.
Of course, that meant, as I discovered, when I view my site, it does not display the Admin Menu choice nor the Log-in box. So, now I cannot enter the Administration module to turn the blocks back on.
Can someone tell me how to do this, please?
Thanks in advance.

I figured it out
I thought I had tried to do this before, unsuccessfully.
Maybe it was that I had the URL incorrect.
Anyway, by going to the following I was able to get back into the Adminstration panel and turn back on the blocks I had turned off:
http://yourdomain.com/?q=admin/block/
(I think I had "blocks" instead of "block.")
Also, note that Drupal is installed in the root of my domain. If yours is not, then you would have to add the path to where your installation resides.
LOVE IT...
