Hi, first of all, thank you for your theme, I was trying for months to make a custom theme and whrn yours appeared it had everything I was looking for!
My problem is the size of the logo image you can use. I have a very nice 470px x 120px custom logo, transparent png, wich I want to place, surprisingly with IE fix it appears perfectly when using IE, but in firefox the logo section divides in two (a black zone and a white one), the logo uses both, its not an empty space.
I've tried to resize the image until the point my logo looks bad and this white zone doesn't dissappear. What can I do?
Sorry if my problem seems too easy, but I'm a noob in theming matters.

Corey Smith commentedYou might consider putting the logo in a block and putting in the header region instead. Here are two examples:
