I installed and setup this site last summer, over the course of about a week, then the group decided it was a no-go. Now they've changed their mind and I'm trying to resurrect it and re-teach myself the little bit I'd learned last year about using Drupal. I have a very very basic question. Please don't laugh... I feel REALLY stupid. But I simple cannot find where to edit the content I created for the home page. I go into Administer/Content Management/ Content and see my other static pages there to edit. But not the homepage. I've looked at every link I can find. What am I missing?
Thanks for your patience and help.
Sheila

Home › Administer › Site configuration › Site information › Default front page
If that is set to 'node', then your front page is an automatically generated teaser list.
If it isn't set to node, it'll certainly give you a clue as to where to edit the front page.
Whatever the case, you should be able to view any node and see 'view' and 'edit' tabs
above the content. If you don't, then you perhaps need to look at the permissions page
to see if you actually have 'edit' permissions.
Sorry, I haven't used the weather module; can't help with that.

1) by default, the front page is not a static page. You can check what the front page is set to at admin/settings/site-information in the "default front page" setting. If set to 'node', there is no static page to edit. If you wish to set it to a static page you can enter the path or nid of the page you wish to use in that setting.
2) the weather module does not require the location module for a sitewide weather block. Please read and follow the instructions in the INSTALL.txt file.
EDIT
Seems the OP altered the original post-- that's why #2 doesn't seem to make sense.

sorry for confusion & new question
I'm sorry...I thought there were no responses or I wouldn't have changed my OP. I guess I forgot to refresh. What I discovered was that in my case I had the site information (mission) setup as my homepage and have been able to edit it.
Now I'm struggling with another question...which I probably should start a new thread on...so I will!
Thanks for helping.
