Great module. Just a quick question. I am currently using the Tribune Module. It provides a basic chatroom-accessible via RSS as well. It also allows the chat to be enabled as a block so members regardless of where they are on the site, see the chat block below content or in a side block and can participate. No need to be in the rooms.

Can PHPChat do the same? Can it be enabled in a block?

yes you can make chat as block and display it. you need to alter module to define new block and print the mark-up or phpfreechatpage to the content of the block
