Automatic email to user is not working

Issue Summary

Send email on day of birth is not working ... I'm using drupal 5.7....

The same issue with 6.x-1.0.

Cannot reproduce for D6 and works for D7, but requires a properly configured cronjob. Please reopen if it persists in the latest release of each version.

I am not supporting the D5 release, but if the problem persists there and someone writes a patch I'd commit it.
