Organic Groups Front page redirection

Hi,

I was wondering, I'm doing a school district in Drupal this summer. The main page of the district is going to be a Drupal site, and each of the schools in our district is going to be it's own Organic Group. One feature we have on our current website is an emergency message display for school closings. When we close (for bad weather, emergencies, etc) we just substitute the entire mainpage for a school with an emergency closing page. Menus/sidebars/footers all stay intact.

For our district mainpage in Drupal, I can simply point our front page to an emergency page using Site Configuration --> Site Information --> Default front page. I'll point it to a page node with appropriate closing text. PERFECT solution. However, I was wondering if a similar feature/module exists for Organic Groups, so I may do a similar redirect for the group mainpages for each of our schools? If not, does anyonoe have any suggestions on getting this type of functionality?
