Ugh, just my luck, I can't make it before 5:00 or 5:30. Would it be possible in the future to hold these things after hours?

How was the meeting? Anyone to report back?
SF Meeting
As a person who has been using/working with drupal for 3 years now it was great to finally meet some other people in the area.
I think there were about 35+ people at the meeting.
It was a great meeting and is now scheduled for once a month, which will be great.
Looking forward to next months meeting.
Thanks a lot to the folks at civicspacelabs for hosting the event!!!

If it was after 5 then I could schedule making it, but if it's during business hours, it's more difficult.

SF Meeting
There were a lot of good things about the meeting. Kaliya Hamlin was both the covenor and facilitator - she did a superb job. I particularly enjoyed talking to Kieran Lal and Neil Drumm and everybody at goodstorm.com.
A number of drupal issues were raised - many dealing with module and theme development. The primary message out of the meeting: drupal needs your help - and any help is welcomed...

Agreed
Thanks Kaliya. and thanks everyone for making the trek out to mission bay. it is great to be building a local drupal community.
Meeting reports
I created this summary of a small group-within-the-group meeting we had on media issues in drupal:

Are there more SF Drupal User Group Meetings Planned?
I'd love to attend one... are there more scheduled?
Thanks...
