In multiuser blog system, many users will probably want to set up their blog according to their taste. Someone will want to show adsense, some will give out donation box...etc when users come to this user's blog or read the user's blog entry.

But the current drupal block system does not seem to have such functionality.

If drupal can provide it, it would be great for multiuser blog system.

Doesn't Drupal core already have this functionality?

You can already create custom blocks and make it so they only appear on certain pages. I think this issue is outdated...
