I am setting up a site, and I've got the standard homepage, a view page, and several node pages. The view page and node pages all have links on my main menu (nothing is nested, they are all on the same level). When I am on the homepage and view page, the only link that shows up is the one for the view. When I click through to one of the nodes, suddenly all the node page links appear on the menu. Why? Why aren't they there on all the pages?
Homepage (just the blog link): http://rtl.hexatrope.com/
View Page (same thing): http://rtl.hexatrope.com/blog
Node pages (suddenly the other links show up!): http://rtl.hexatrope.com/node/5

If you mean the "Promote to Front Page" checkbox in Publishing Options on the node edit form - that doesn't do it.
