I currently use the flag link on my site mediabasehq.com. At present the flag appears in the bottom left of the node content area to logged in users. What I want to do is to make this link appear as a tab to "all" users. When the non registered users click the link they will be taken to the log in screen. Is this possible?

mooffie commentedHaving a tab label trigger an action seems like bad usability. Users won't be able to access the tab content without triggering the action. They aren't going to love you for this.
Whatever,
The Placing a flag link on a page handbook page explains how to put the link wherever you want. It's a good starting point. Ask in the support forums how to put your own stuff inside a tab label (this particular detail is off-topic here).

avpadernoI agree; a tab is not the best option in this case. It could be used if the triggered action would need some parameters, before to be executed (and therefore, it would present a form to ask the parameters it needs).

avpadernoI am changing the title to something more specific, as it is already possible to move the link to a different location (which was not what has been asked, anyway).

mooffie commented(BTW, I know of one place where a tab label functions as a button: Wikipedia's "watch"/"unwatch" tab.)

avpadernoThat is called the exception that confirms the rule. :-)
