Description

Hi!

Is it possible to remove the caption field for this fieldtype? I just want the Add Image bit and think that the caption field just confuses my users...

I agree. It would be great to have a checkbox to turn captions on and off during the field configuration process.

I'll look into doing this if time allows.

Here is a preliminary patch. It adds an option on the widget settings form to enable the caption field on the edit form for that content type. It seems to work for me, but I have not developed for CCK before, so caveat emptor...

No one wants to review this so I can get it out of my issue queue? :)

Patch work for me on imceimage.module,v 1.1.2.5 2009/05/25 23:18:13
On latest dev-version patch don't work (imceimage.module,v 1.1.2.7 2009/11/06 02:10:23) - after adding image, they don't display on node edit form.

I no longer use imceimage, is anyone able to take a crack at fixing that patch? I don't see anything that's changed between 1.1.2.5 and 1.1.2.7 that would affect it, but it's hard to know without being able to test it myself.

works like a charm in beta2. +1 to be included on the next release.
